Welcome back everyone! I hope your weeks are going well. I’m definitely sad to be back at school instead of at the beach. As my Insta followers know (and as the title suggests), I just spent a week in Panama City Beach, Florida with three friends for our spring break.

The start of the trip was a bit chaotic accommodation-wise, but we ended up staying at a Holiday Inn Express and it was actually really nice. It was located right on the beach, had a heated pool, a lazy river, a jacuzzi, and a tiki bar! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t the warmest so we didn’t get to spend much time at the beach (the heated pool and jacuzzi came in handy!).

We shot this look our last night in Florida right after dinner at a really great Mexican joint called Diego’s Burrito Factory (if you’re ever in PCB definitely check it out — it’s like an upscale Chipotle) and right before our sunset walk on the beach. I really love this striped dress because it works for both spring and summer and can be dressed up or down. The sizing is a little difficult, because it definitely runs big but it’s a little tight around the rib area (other review from Nordstrom had the same opinion). I ended up sizing down one size and I’m pretty happy with the fit.

I paired this dress with some of my favorite spring/summer accessories — my Marc Fisher wedges and my basket bag! The wedges, as I mentioned in a previous post, are a must-have. They look so good with everything from shorts to skirts and dresses to rompers and jumpsuits; you really can’t go wrong. And if there is one bag you need for spring/summer it’s a basket bag! With so many cute options right now, the hardest part will be choosing which one (or two, or three) to buy!

P. S. Ignore the ugly green band around my wrist. The hotel made us wear wristbands all week and they couldn’t have chosen a more garish color.
