If there is one silhouette I’ve been loving for awhile now it’s the puff sleeve! Something about a puffed sleeve instantly makes any look feel a little bit more dramatic, glamorous, and put-together. Take a simple ribbed tee like the one I’m wearing above. It’s a basic top and would definitely be a closet staple. But, the puff sleeve detail takes it from basic and boring to noteworthy.
What I love about this top is that you can pretty much wear it for any occasion. From running around on the weekend, going out to dinner, or even going to work I guarantee there is a puffed sleeve top that will fit your needs.
I wore the outfit above out to dinner while on vacation. I love how even though I was wearing a ribbed top and shorts, the little details made it look much more elevated. Puff sleeves on the top, the structured silhouette of the shorts, and the addition of kitten heels at the end combined to create an outfit that was dressed up without being over-the-top.
