Feeling very merry and bright in this holiday outfit! When it comes to holiday dressing, skirts are always my go-to. You can dress them up or down and easily adjust for the weather. Throw on some tights and a sweater with this outfit and you’re set for chilly temps!
I have to say, this holiday season I’m all about red. I usually go for white and green inspired outfits, but I think with the way this year has gone I just need a little extra cheer. Cue the red hues! I thought this red plaid skirt was so fun, especially with the gold button detail. I added a white bodysuit and my favorite black knee-high boots to create the perfect, festive holiday outfit! The best part about this look is that it’s dressed up just enough without looking too “done up.”
Another reason I’m loving this skirt is because it’s tweed! If you follow my Instagram you might have seen my tangent about how I think tweed is the perfect fabric during the holidays. Something about it is just so festive and classic. Plus, you guys know I live for those Blair Waldorf/Chanel vibes!
So, what will you be wearing this holiday season? I usually go for a look like this, but with COVID this year, I might opt for a festive loungewear look on Christmas Day! But, stay tuned for more holiday inspired outfits as we move through the rest of December and 2020!
xo,
Carey
P.S. The website says this skirt runs small. I ordered a small (usually between xs/s in skirts) and it was loose at the waist, but tight across the hips. Just keep that in mind when choosing your size!
