For those who have been waiting, the wait is officially over: the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is open for public access! This truly is the best sale that Nordstrom has all year and the perfect time to take stock of your fall and winter wardrobe. And while I have another blog post to reference for all of my picks from the sale, I thought I’d dive into what I actually bought this year.

First up are the shoes. Normally my favorite part of the sale, but this year I’m having bad luck. I bought my normal size 6 in both and they both run a little small. I would recommend sizing up half a size. Otherwise, I absolutely love both! I got the tall boots in the eggshell leather version and they look so pretty in person. I can’t wait to wear with skirts and dresses once the temps drop. As far as the black booties go, they are gorgeous! The square toe is so on-trend and chic, and the fit of the ankle opening is perfect.
As you can tell from the photos above, I’m already making use of some of my purchases, namely the Free People tee and Fendi sunglasses. Let’s talk tee: it’s really lightweight (semi-sheer), but such a good basic tee to layer. I’m wearing now and can pair it in the fall with jackets or sweaters. But, my true favorite item is the sunglasses. I haven’t had a nice pair of designer sunglasses in years, so this was exciting for me! The best part is, they were more than $100 off! Currently, my pair is sold out, but if you’re looking for designer sunglasses at unbeatable prices, now is the time! Sharing some other favorite below:
Lastly, the suede jacket and the sweater dress. While I haven’t gotten the dress in yet, the jacket came in and I’m in love. BlankNYC has always been a go-to for moto jackets. I bought a leather one a few years ago in the sale, but I’ve been wanting a suede one. The color is amazing in person and the fit is true-to-size. I can’t wait to start wearing it in the fall!
Anyway, that’s it for my Nordstrom sale haul, but I will say this. Nordstrom is planning to restock some items, so be on the lookout for those pieces you have to have! Happy shopping!
