Four Trends I’m Carrying into 2022

I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite things to do is an inventory of trends each season. I won’t go into it again, but winter trends are always my favorite. And on that note, I wanted to share some of the trends from 2021 that I will continue to wear this winter season!

Bucket Hats

While this isn’t just a winter trend, I’ve been loving the seasonal take on bucket hats. From sherpa to furry to faux leather, they’re so much more fun than your usual canvas! I recently picked up the furry bucket hat above while in Nashville and I can’t wait to keep styling it. Bonus: it’s so practical for the winter weather.

Faux Leather Pieces

I probably don’t even need to say at this point that I love faux leather — it’s more than obvious. Every iteration is a win in my book! Lately it’s all about the faux leather pants and blazers, but you can’t forget skirts and shorts! Again, I love how practical this trend is for winter. I actually love to wear faux leather pants to work because they look more dressed up than jeans and they keep me warm (our office is on the water and always freezing).

Mini Skirts

So you might argue that mini skirts aren’t a trend, but I’ve been seeing more and more of them lately. Especially in the micro-mini form. It’s giving early-2000s and I actually…kind of…love it? Y2K isn’t my favorite style aesthetic, but this is one trend I will integrate. Make it winter appropriate with a pair of tights!

Shades of Green

Lastly, green took over in the fall and it doesn’t seem to be going away any time soon. Whether you throw on a green sweater or opt for a full monochrome green look, this is one of the easier trends to incorporate! I’m personally loving emerald green and teal hues.

Let me know which trends you’re loving and which you’re leaving in the comments below!

Carey

  1. Once you have some good gift ideas in hand, the last thing that you can do is just go out and buy them the gifts. Some of these gift ideas can be very simple, but meaningful, such as making a Christmas tree or even a snowman or a Santa hat. free happy new year images You don’t have to spend a fortune on these gifts, but they are sure to be appreciated by your loved ones.
