Normally I would say happy Monday, but it’s not just any Monday; It’s Cyber Monday! And with that being said, I wanted to jump start your holiday look books with two glamorous holiday looks that won’t break the bank!

If you’ve been following along for awhile now, you know that SheIn is my one-stop shop for trendy, yet affordable pieces. So, of course this is the first place I looked for holiday outfits. When it comes to holiday dressing, I say, the more sequins the better! What other time of year can you break out a full sequin dress? This is your time to shine!

Of course, if sequins aren’t your thing that doesn’t mean that you need to look boring at your holiday parties. The top fabrics, aside from sequins, to keep in mind are velvet, satin, and metallics! You really can’t go wrong with any of those!

Anyway, I wanted to keep today’s post short and sweet. So, you can easily shop these looks below, and don’t forget, you can get these two looks, plus so many more, for 15% off with code BF19639 for  Cyber Monday!

The Ultimate Guide to Winter Coats

The Ultimate Guide to Winter Coats

winter coat guide. 2winter coat guide 3winter coat guide.4

Hello and happy Tuesday friends! You probably have seen this look already when I shared it on Instagram (give me a follow if you haven’t already!) a little while back. But, since the temperature seems to keep dropping (at least where I am), I figured it was time to talk about all things winter coats. I have to say, while I hate the cold weather, I thrive in winter fashion. What can I tell ya? I’m a big coat kinda girl. And with that being said, here are the six winter coat trends to keep in mind this season!

Puffer Coats

Puffer coats are 100% the “it-coat” this season. With the extremely cold temps, I’m not complaining! If you want to look ultra-chic in this trend, opt for a cropped puffer jacket style in an eye-catching color/style. I’m ready to rock a white puffer jacket, but I’m also loving the leather look versions and even the metallic ones!

Parkas

When you are dealing with freezing cold weather, nothing beats a nice, quilted parka that goes down to your knees! Here are some fun options I’m loving. Just like with the puffer coats, I’m dying over white parkas—so chic!

Pea/Wool Coats

There is absolutely no coat more classic than a pea coat. This style has been in my wardrobe for years. If you haven’t invested in a camel pea coat yet, get yourself one ASAP. I promise, this will never go out of style.

Faux Fur Coats

Faux fur coats took the world by storm a few seasons ago and they’re definitely not going anywhere! Whether you want to rock a basic black or white coat, or you’re feeling more adventurous and want to opt for a bright color or animal print, you really can’t go wrong.

Sherpas/Shearling Coats

While I still agree that puffer coats are the trendiest coat this winter, sherpas/shearlings are definitely a close second! Here are some that I’m loving:

Trench Coats

Ahh the trench coat. A closet staple that you’ll go back to year after year. I recently raved about trench coats in my “How to Dress Like a Parisian” post. While this isn’t always the warmest of winter coats, it’s the perfect option to throw over a chunky sweater on a warmer winter day!

That’s all for today. Which coat style is your favorite?

Carey

I don’t think there is an outfit combo that is more on brand for me than a cozy sweater paired with a denim skirt and knee-high boots. This is the epitome of a fall outfit in my opinion. So, while we had a break in the cold-front we’ve been experiencing here in Baltimore you know I whipped this outfit right out!

I’ve been wanting to shoot this sweater for you guys because I’m absolutely in love with it (it’s actually been hanging in my room and I can’t tell you how many times my mom has looked at it and said she loved it). You know white is my go-to—whether that’s sweaters, tees, or blouses—but I love the fun addition of the color block sleeves! Paired with the balloon sleeve silhouette it’s a subtle statement and so, so chic.

Again, at this point you guys know my undying love of denim skirts (check out my fall staples post here), so I won’t go into detail. And of course, the outfit wouldn’t be complete without some form of boots. I wanted this outfit to look classic and slightly preppy—I’d say mission accomplished!

But now that we’ve got the outfit covered, here’s another reminder about the $1,000 Amazon gift card giveaway. Enter below!

Happy Wednesday, friends! I’m going to keep today’s blog post short and sweet, but make sure you scroll all the way down for a fun surprise!

If you know me (and by now I think you do), you know I love a good leopard print. As soon as I saw this sweater from Chicwish, I knew I had to have it! From the neutral colors to the balloon sleeves to the oversized fit, I loved it all. To be honest, when I first saw the sweater my immediate thought was that it would look so cute with my Spanx leather leggings—which will definitely by happening soon!

Instead, I decided to pair it with the adorable crop flare jeans that have been lying neglected in my closet. I shared these on an Instagram stories try-on in October and haven’t really worn them since. I think they pair so well with the sweater; they give the look a little something extra. And because I wanted the flare to stand out, I opted for a pair of white booties to contrast with the black and pull together the whole look.

Side note: I didn’t mention above, but the sweater is incredibly cozy. I’ll 100% be wearing it on repeat throughout the winter. But anyway, that’s all for the outfit this week! And now, on to the fun surprise…

40 Fall/Winter Amazon Finds

40 Fall/Winter Amazon Finds

Happy Friday, friends! I’m back again this week for another Amazon wish list/finds post because you all loved the last one! Now that it’s November, we’re all starting to think about two things: 1) the cooler weather and 2) the holidays. So when you voted on stories the other day that you’d prefer to see an Amazon wish list this week I though it would be the perfect time to share late fall outfit ideas as well as holiday gifts/stocking stuffers.

Everything I added to this list is something that I would personally want for myself and that I thought you would love as well. So whether you’re treating yourself or thinking of gifts for your girlfriends, sisters, moms, etc. I think you guys are going to love these finds! It’s definitely a mix, but I tended towards cozy sweaters, fall jackets, holiday dresses, and jewelry/miscellaneous finds. So, let’s get to shopping!

Thanksgiving Outfit Idea: Leopard Cardigan

November is only two days away *gasp* so that means it’s time to start thinking about your holiday plans. And if you are anything like me, the outfit you’re going to wear is top priority. Which is why today I’m sharing an easy Thanksgiving outfit idea that’s as comfy as it is cute!

When I’m busy shoveling stuffing in my face, getting dolled up is the last thing I want to do. But, I also hate looking like a slob… Enter the perfect outfit combination that feels liked dressed up pajamas: a leopard cardigan and a black dress. Let’s start with the cardigan.

Whether or not you’re going to wear one to Thanksgiving dinner, a leopard cardigan is a must this fall. I’m going to say that yes, leopard is a neutral, so a leopard cardigan will work for so many different outfits. (Side note: my mom has been wearing her leopard cardigan non-stop and every time she gets compliments from strangers). I love the one I’m wearing above for two reasons. A) it has pockets and B) it’s such a nice, thick, cozy material. I will say, I wish it was a tad bit shorter, but I’m only 5 ft. so I’m sure most people won’t think it’s too long!

Moving on to the dress. If you follow me on Instagram, on stories I was debating returning the dress because I think it’s also slightly too big on me. I decided to keep it (I’m going to try to shrink it in the wash) and I think it still looks so cute on! It is a body con dress, but the ruching detail makes it flattering on. The craziest part is that it’s only $14 right now! This will be the perfect dress to help mask any Thanksgiving dinner food babies lol!

I kept the rest of the look simple and added black booties, my black bag, and gold hoops. I think the leopard cardigan does all the talking for this outfit. So, anyway, that’s all for today. Is this a Thanksgiving outfit you’d wear? Let me know in the comments!

P.S. I think last week’s midi skirt outfit is another great Thanksgiving outfit idea!
