Aaaand just like that, it’s Monday again. I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I’m feeling extra grateful to have this Monday off—maybe I’ll even get in some pool time since our neighborhood pool just opened!
Anyway, the theme of this week’s blog posts is graduation. As much as I want to avoid the dreaded “G word,” it’s approaching fast. And with that in mind, I’m sure girls are still looking for graduation dresses. I just got my graduation dress in on Friday so no judgment here! And I know that my roommate still hasn’t found one yet.
Lucky for you, I’ve rounded up over 70 different options to choose from, at a few different price points. I mostly looked for white dresses since that’s what most wear, but I threw in options in other colors/prints as well. Check out my picks below! Also, if you’re not about to graduate, here is the perfect excuse to buy a new dress just because (and check out this post too)!
I hope this post was helpful! Let me know which dress you love in the comments below!
I can’t believe last Friday night I attended my last formal ever for my sorority. Graduation is starting to feel real with every “last” I’m encountering. But, without getting too sentimental, it’s nice to look back on my time in Alpha Omicron Pi at Elon University. From the fun opportunities I’ve received to the great friends I’ve made, it’s all been a blast.
But enough with the mushy stuff—this is a fashion blog so I need to get to the fashion part. I literally cannot say enough good things about the dress I wore. From the color, to the fit, to the silhouette, I’m absolutely in love. So in love in fact, I’m considering purchasing the same dress in white for graduation. I received so many compliments on this dress too (and who doesn’t love a compliment?). Seriously though, you know you’ve found a winner when you lose track of how many people say they love your dress.
I have to say though, finding this dress took me awhile (and shoutout to my roommate for convincing me to get it in this color). And because I had a lot of trouble finding a dress for formal, I thought others might be in the same boat. Whether you’re looking for a dress for formal, graduation, a wedding, a shower, etc., I’ve rounded up some great options for a formal event. The best part? They’re all under $200!
What event do you have coming up this spring? Comment below!
TGIF am I right? Sorry for the late post this week, but I have been extremely busy with school. Anyway, it’s starting to feel like spring in North Carolina, so I though I would share some dresses that are inspiring my spring wardrobe.
Clearly I am having a pastel moment right now — pale pinks, blues, and yellows are a must. I’ve also been seeing a lot of lavender colored pieces and I am LOVING IT! Aside from pastels, I’m feeling inspired by ruffles and lacey/sheer fabrics.
All of the dresses I shared above are definitely on my wish list. However, I think my favorite is #6, the white babydoll Free People dress. It would look so cute with a pair of wedges and a denim jacket, or with a pair of booties and a cute hat for a more festival-type look.
I also really love #5, the yellow floral dress. And if you haven’t clicked on the link yet, do so now and check out the cute cut out details in the back! This dress can definitely be dressed up or down and could definitely transition into summer.
That’s all for this week, I hope everyone has a good weekend!
Happy Wednesday! I was planning on sharing an outfit post this week, but it’s been so cold and I’m kind of done with winter clothes. Instead I thought I would share some outfit inspiration for spring formal (or dances in general!). For those of you that don’t know, I’m in the sorority Alpha Omicron Pi and our formal is coming up. We were just talking about it in chapter on Sunday and I realized I didn’t have a dress yet. I actually bought my dress this morning (more on that later; it’s not included in this post because I want to do a whole post on my outfit!), but I figured a lot of girls may be in the same boat. So without further ado, here are my top picks for spring formals (all under $250!):
I hope this post was helpful to those who are looking for dresses for the spring. The focus for me was spring formal, but these dresses can work for a Spring Fling, weddings, proms, etc. If you like posts like this and want to see more, let me know in the comments below!
Side note: the shoes in the picture above are the ones I wore to my spring formal last year. They are one of my favorite pairs of heels and still available this year here and here.
