Happy Friday! It’s a little late, but for this week’s blog post I’m sharing some sales to shop this weekend. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been in a shopping fever lately. With spring coming up, all I want to do is buy spring items. Thinking of the warm weather I’m going to have in New Orleans is the only thing getting me through this week. But anyway, if you’re like me right now, then I’m sure you’ve been looking for some sales to shop for spring items. Happy shopping!
Asos — 20% off with code LUCKYME
Abercrombie — BOGO 50% off jeans
Ann Taylor — up to 40% off + extra 50% off sale items
Happy Tuesday everyone! Today marks the first day of the annual Shopbop sale. Since Shopbop seems to be a little on the pricier side, this is the perfect opportunity to snatch up those higher end items you’ve had your eye on. I’m talking bags, shoes, jeans, maybe a nice sweater. The sale will last from today until March 2nd, so if there’s something you want, grab it now before it’s gone!
To shop the sale, make sure you use code GOBIG19 for…
15% off orders of $200+
20% off orders of $500+
25% off orders of $800+
To make it a little easier on you, I’ve curated some items I’m loving by category. All of my picks are perfect for spring and summer! Happy shopping 🙂
I can’t think of anything more chic or versatile than a jumpsuit. Whenever I put one on, it’s like an instant confidence boost. And they work for almost any occasion — casual days, work, dressier events, you name it. Lately, I’ve been all about the spring/summer jumpsuits. The ones made of light fabrics in subtle colors and especially striped jumpsuits.
The one above is a jumpsuit I picked up it Florida at Forever21 of all places. I wasn’t able to find it online, but I found a really similar version from the same store. Surprisingly, Forever21 is offering some really cute jumpsuits right now and I have to say I’m impressed. What I love about this jumpsuit is the pinstripes. I feel like they make me look taller than I am (which is a plus) and the pattern isn’t overwhelming.
In my appreciation for the lovely piece that is the jumpsuit, I thought I’d round up a few of my favorites for you all. Happy shopping!
P.S. I hope you don’t mind the shorter post this week, but it’s the end of the semester and things are a little crazy!
Happy Thursday babes! So close to the weekend, thank god. I’m actually visiting one of my best friends in Charleston this weekend and I am SOO excited (stay tuned for content). Anyway, back to this week’s look…
I bought this ruffle top about a month ago and it has been a staple in my closet ever since. You may have seen it already if you follow me on Instagram (if you don’t go follow!). The silhouette of the top is just so different from any other top I have. Even better: the shirt was just under $100 when I bought it from Nordstrom, and while it’s sold out there now, it’s on sale at Macy’s for $72!
I decided to go with a ruffle theme and pair my top with this asymmetrical, denim ruffle skirt I also bought from Nordstrom. When I bought it, I was actually looking for a plain, non-distressed denim skirt. I saw this one instead and knew I had to buy it! Like the top, it’s a silhouette that I just haven’t seen and am loving. Clearly ruffles are a fave of mine.
Because I wore this look to class before shooting it, I paired my slip on white sneaker-type shoes with it. And let me tell you — I cannot stop wearing these shoes! I get so many compliments on them and they’re just simple slip on sneakers. They pair so well with leggings and a tee on lazy days, but then also dresses and skirts on days when you went to look put together but still casual. If you’re looking for a new shoe for spring, I highly recommend!
On a side note, I just want to talk about my lipstick for a minute. It’s one of the Sephora Collection lipsticks and although this color isn’t sold anymore, you should definitely buy it! They’re only about $12, but I think they last better than any lipstick I own, including ones I’ve spent upwards of $30 on.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by! If you liked this post, let me know in the comments below!
TGIF am I right? Sorry for the late post this week, but I have been extremely busy with school. Anyway, it’s starting to feel like spring in North Carolina, so I though I would share some dresses that are inspiring my spring wardrobe.
Clearly I am having a pastel moment right now — pale pinks, blues, and yellows are a must. I’ve also been seeing a lot of lavender colored pieces and I am LOVING IT! Aside from pastels, I’m feeling inspired by ruffles and lacey/sheer fabrics.
All of the dresses I shared above are definitely on my wish list. However, I think my favorite is #6, the white babydoll Free People dress. It would look so cute with a pair of wedges and a denim jacket, or with a pair of booties and a cute hat for a more festival-type look.
I also really love #5, the yellow floral dress. And if you haven’t clicked on the link yet, do so now and check out the cute cut out details in the back! This dress can definitely be dressed up or down and could definitely transition into summer.
That’s all for this week, I hope everyone has a good weekend!
Although it doesn’t feel like it, spring is almost upon us. And that means adding new pieces to your wardrobe! One spring staple I can’t get enough of right now is the one shoulder top. When off the shoulder tops started popping up, I was all over the trend. And even though I still love OTS styles, I’m ready for a bit of a change. That’s why the one shoulder trend is so perfect!
For this look, I kept things simple — the top stands out on its own — and paired my top with dark skinnies and my Marc Fisher wedges. I just got these wedges and let me tell you — I. Am. OBSESSED. These shoes have been on my wish list for awhile just because of how cute they are, but they’re actually so comfy and easy to walk in too! If you don’t own these shoes yet, buy them ASAP. They have been popular for the past three years and I don’t see that changing any time soon. Wear them now with jeans like I did, and then when it gets warmer pair them with dresses, rompers, and shorts. I bought them in the color called “mushroom” because of the nice, neutral shade that will go with anything. But, I’m also loving them in the cognac shade as well.
Back to the one shoulder tops, I ordered mine from Revolve on major sale (I got it for $29 when it’s usually around $90). With that being said, this top is almost completely sold out, so I rounded up a few other one shoulder tops from Revolve I’m loving below. I don’t know what it is about this brand, but they are killing the one shoulder top game!
That’s all for this week, if you liked this post make sure to subscribe to my newsletter so you never miss a post!
