If you didn’t get enough Valentine’s Day content last week, don’t worry because I’m back again today with more inspo! As soon as I saw it, I immediately thought it would be such a cute option for a Valentine’s Day dress. If you are looking for something that’s a touch more dressy, but not over-the-top, this is the perfect dress!
I decided to tone the look down with knee-high, tan boots. The dress has such a fun silhouette and pattern that I wanted it to stand out. Honestly, I think this dress is so unique—from the pattern (it has elephants!) to the high, ruffled collar and puff shoulders I haven’t seen anything like it. And if red isn’t your color—because let’s be real, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea—it comes in a pretty blue color or black.
Spring is definitely on my mind when it comes to shopping and that’s another reason I love this dress. Even if you don’t want it for Valentine’s Day, it’s such a great transition piece. Right now I would wear this dress with boots and a coat (be warned, it is thin). But once the temps heat up I think it would be so cute with sneakers or sandals.
Like I mentioned with the boots, since the dress makes such a statement I kept accessories to a minimum. Subtle gold jewelry, my sunglasses, and a bag easily completed the look.
So, if you’re still looking for a Valentine’s Day dress, I highly recommend this one. And, you can get 15% off your entire order with the code thedaintydetails315!
It’s that time of year again where we need to talk Valentine’s Day outfit. Truthfully, I think Valentine’s Day is a silly holiday. Could be because I’m perpetually single, but I feel like it puts a lot of pressure on people to do something special. Regardless, I love pink and red so you can bet your booty that I will be scoping out something cute to wear! So, whether you’re going out to a fancy dinner with your SO, or you’re celebrating a fun Galentine’s Day with the girls, I’ve got you covered when it comes to being festive.
But before I get into my finds, let’s talk this outfit. How freaking cute is this pink heart detail sweater? I saw this sweater last year and fell in love, so I knew I needed to get it this year. It’s also the perfect transition sweater from winter to spring. The pink color is perfect for Valentine’s Day, but also is reminiscent of spring pastels. Paired with some skinny jeans and nude heels, you can easily wear it for a night out. I’ve also worn it with jeans and sneakers for a more casual look.
But, enough about my look, let’s get into some more Valentine’s Day outfit inspiration! I found 30 dresses and 30 tops/sweaters that will be perfect for however you want to celebrate! And, I found pieces at a variety of price points to meet any budget. So get shopping!
